Hay Load Tarping Requirements

IMPORTANT: For all hay loads that require tarping, it is the driver’s responsibility to ensure the entire load is tarped fully and remains fully tarped the entire trip. Any damage resulting in hay not being correctly, fully tarped for the entire shipment will be the driver’s responsibility to compensate.

Hay must be tarped as follows:

Step Deck Example
Step Deck Rear Example

It is critical that the hay is fully tarped as in the examples above with ZERO exposure. Any damaged hay due to water intrusion for any reason will be the driver’s responsibility to compensate the shipper fully. This includes any deductible not paid by insurance.

Prior to leaving facility, you must send a photo of ALL SIDES of the tarped load to the Listo Services broker for the load. Loads that are not tarped correctly cannot leave the loading facility.

I agree to tarp the load according to the pictures provided and will be responsible for any damage due to water intrusion.
